Prudentia was originally entered for Pukekohe on 1 April, but the meeting was abandoned due to weather before she could line up. The Wexford Stables team regrouped and targeted Te Rapa on 12 April for her resumption.

That plan shifted again when New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing postponed the Te Rapa meeting to Friday, 17 April, due to severe weather concerns. While the delay is frustrating, it keeps Prudentia fresh and on track for a proper resumption.

She has accepted for the BM65 over 1300m, and the stable are confident she will strip fitter for the extra week.

Due to safety concerns regarding the severe weather forecast, NZTR have elected to move the Te Rapa meeting to Friday the 17th of April. We will be in touch in the new week if there are any further changes. — Wexford Stables
